Vehicles ( not withstanding that they fall within any of the classes herein described ) displaying a badge issued by a local authority in terms of it's powers under Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and conveying either as driver or passenger the disabled person in respect of whom such a badge was issued.

Vehicles ( not withstanding that they fall within any of the classes herein described ) which, in the opinion of the bridge master require an escort provided by him to ensure the safety of the bridge and / or other road users.
